Ryan Schneider (b.1980, Indianapolis, IN) received his BFA from the Maryland Institute, College of Art in 2002. Schneider has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions worldwide. Recent solo exhibitions include “Mojave Pictures” at Taymour Grahne, New York, “You Are Entering”, at Richard Heller Gallery, Los Angeles (2015), and “Moave Mask” at the Schneider Museum of Art in Ashland, OR. Recent group exhibitons include “Hope and Hazard: A Comedy of Eros”, curated by Eric Fischl at the Hall Art Foundation, Reading VT, and Nude, V1 Gallery, Copenhagen. Schneider’s work has been featured in the Brask Studio Visits book, Whitewall Magazine, Modern Painters, ArtNet, The New Yorker, Art in America, The Brooklyn Rail, ArtInfo, New American Paintings, Art F City, and Brask Art Blog. His work is a part of the collection of the Hall Art Foundation in Reading, VT, among many other private and public collections. Schneider lives and works in Joshua Tree, CA.
